As a future educator, the BC curriculum is very important to me. The BC curriculum helps build a foundation in how and why students learn. The curriculum sets learning standards and goals across all of the subjects in each grade. I feel as though the BC curriculum can be personalized for each student so they are able to learn in the most efficient way. The curriculum is based on student focused learning. One aspect that is important to me is how the BC curriculum focuses on Indigenous knowledge, this ensures cultural responsibility and inclusivity within the classroom. The BC curriculum is a framework that still allows the students to be creative with their learning.
